About
The Associated Social Service Agency (ASSA) was the offspring of like minded dedicated people of Keonjhar district of Orissa state, moved by the cause of the plights of the suffered lots and willing to contribute to the might for the alleviation of the sufferings of the marginalized people Viz. Dalits, Tribals, women as well as children whose rights have been subdued and subjugated since ages.Born in the year 1990 as an unregistered entity, ASSA was later registered under Societies Registration Act. XXI,1860 in the year 1992, has waged a relentless war for upbringing and betterment of the “Sons of the Soil”. It got the FCR status in the year 2000. It has also registered u/s 12A & 80-G of Income Tax Act. 1961. It works on prime issues like health, education, livelihood, environment, governance in a sustainable manner.

Our Mission
1.Empowerment the people and involve them into various welfare and development process and to make them self-reliant.
2.Identification of issues and needs of people and effecting necessary interventions.
3.Capacity building and skill development of people for sustainable Socio-Economic Development.
4.Restoration of ecology.
5.Acting as a strong catalytic Agent for social development.
6.Coordination and cooperation with development machineries to ensure effective delivery of benefits of programs for communities.
